Here’s how to use the tool:
1.
Take
a moment to think about water related issues you have experienced or are aware
of within the watershed. Potential issues may relate to flooding, surface water
quality, groundwater quality, compliance with water related regulations, the
effect of global warming on water resources, etc. They may be specific to a
particular location or they may apply to the entire watershed.
2. For issues that are specific to a
particular area, use the Search for tool
or the Zoom tool
to
locate the area on the map. General comments that apply to the entire watershed
may be entered at any location.
3. Once you have zoomed to the
appropriate location, enter, remove, or submit your comments using one of these tools from the Comment Tool Bar:
a.
Select the Create Comment tool and
click on a point within the watershed where you would like to create a comment.
This tool will create a point and allow you to enter information about that
point.
b.
The Remove Previous Comment tool allows
you to remove comments.
c.
The Send Comment tool allows
you to submit your comments to the watershed district and asks for some basic
information about you. Once you have submitted your comments, they will
disappear from your web browser.
